(Aprils POV… Cont’d) We were moving quickly, and I felt silly having to be carried, but it was so much faster than if I were on foot. Jeremy had thankfully kept the feed focused on Alex, so I wasn’t prepared for it when we entered the clearing and there was a ghostly figure of a man raging behind some sort of barrier. “Alex!” I gasped his name, squirming from my Mother’s arms, then running to where Alex lay still on the ground. “Oh Goddess, please be alright.” I kept repeating in a panic as I skidded to a halt by him and gently dropped to my knees.
