We've known Gary since childhood. He was right around our age. We all used to go to school together.
If I remember correctly, Gary was one of our starting pitchers for our school's baseball team. In fact, if memory serves, he was scouted for the big leagues and refused to go. He wouldn’t leave the pack even for something as big as a major league career.
