(Alex’s POV)
My Brother left right after that so we took our plates and headed up to our suite. On the way there I let my curiosity get the better of me and asked, “Do you seriously think there’s actually slime out there to find or that there’s any merit to it being usable?”
“I don’t know if there is or not but yeah, I think there’s some merit to the whole idea. I know it sounds like something out of Hollywood or something. But we’re living proof that Hollywood takes all its best ideas from living myths. So why can’t there be some merit to ghostly slime or ectoplasm or whatever?” She shrugged as though it didn’t matter but it did. At least to me.
I don’t want to go chasing down every silly notion someone comes up with in an effort to try and help her with this. It’d be a waste of time,
