“Hello Father. Would you mind terribly if we took a moment of your time?” I asked respectfully. I feel like he deserves to be treated more kindly after finding out he’s spent hundreds of years in service to the Vatican, most of it either down in those catacombs, in his room, or in their dungeon.
Yes, dungeon.
I was surprised too. But I guess I shouldn’t have been. I mean, hello… dark ages… everyone had dungeons back then. Even the Vatican apparently. And really, after thinking about it, I think what surprised me the most was that they locked him up down there for nother other reason but then he’s a Dhampir. I don’t even know how they knew that. But apparently they did. And he paid a horrible price for it.
