(April’s POV)
By the time we got back last night, I was out cold. I don’t even know how I got to bed, but when I woke up I was still in my travel clothes. I felt really icky, though. So I hopped directly into the shower and hosed myself down.
I felt much better after that. So once I was dressed, I grabbed the gift bags and went in search of my children. To my surprise, I found them all in the playroom with Alex and my Brother. They all looked so happy that I decided to just watch them for a bit as they played with their legos.
It was always fun watching Winter when he was with the kids because his own inner-child came out. After not having a childhood to speak of, I think he deserves these little glimpses of what he missed out on.
