(Alex’s POV)
I could hear them whizzing around the room as I was hurrying outside with April cradled in my arms. We had just walked into the front courtyard when I heard her groan then say, “I think we better hurry, babe.”
“Just hold tight, babe. We’ll be there in no time.” I said as I broke into a quick jog. I didn’t wanna run because I didn’t wanna jostle her about that badly. Which is also why I didn’t shift and just let her ride Max back.
The good thing is her healing abilities will help take the pain away more quickly. The bad news is, because of that we don’t always know how close she is until she’s ready to deliver. So if she’s saying to hurry, I’m gonna hurry.
