I saw April and Alex leaving a little while ago, and sighed. Don’t get me wrong. I’m happy for them. I just wish it were me, that’s all.
Which is why I’m now standing in line for a lunch I don’t really want, because if I don’t eat, people begin to worry and-or lecture me about needing to eat and keep up my strength. I wish just once I could yell “Why?! What’s the point?!” but that’d do no good and I know it.
