(Alex’s POV)
It’s been a few days since that whole thing over the kiss and April’s pregnancy. After I told April Violet’s name, we were actually able to sit and talk for a bit. My parents left the room and let us talk in relative peace, and we kept it pretty light and casual.
It was nice.
I’ve been walking around on cloud-nine ever since. I’ve even made it to training on time these past few days without a single hitch. In fact, I sparred with Austin and Connor this morning for the first time in a while and I really enjoyed the workout. It's been kinda comical seeing how the warriors have reacted to me being there after being absent for so long.
