(April’s POV)
The barbecue was so much fun. The guys really outdid themselves on it. I went a little overboard on the cheesecake, too. And the next day my stomach let me know it.
I also got the opportunity to get to know Mia a little better that night. I guess now that she knows some things about us and what we all went through she’s curious. She had a million questions and I did my best to answer them without having to spend the night recapping everything.
Apparently Ken didn’t tell her that I am also known as ‘Hericane’ or that my Dad is ‘Thunder’, either. I found this out when someone mentioned that I do MMO training with our warriors and she got all excited. Apparently, she’s a fan of the sport. She didn’t say if she’s a fan of mine or Dad’s though.
