(April’s POV)
After some of the excitement over the new power settled down a bit, Alex and I went to his office to discuss what happened. “I can’t believe after all this time you got a new gift.” He said for the umpteenth time just since we got here alone.
I rolled my eyes as I waited patiently for him to stop pacing. He was off on a tangent from being so excited, and I knew better than to interrupt him when he gets like this. He sometimes reminds me of someone with ADHD when he’s like this.
It’s kinda funny, actually. And far from boring. So, I just sit here watching the show.
Though I still don’t think that came from me. Maybe it was Denise? Doubtful. I couldn’t sense anything special about her, A. Raine had a point there. Neither could I, Rai. So I guess I need to ask… was it you?
