I woke up to Theo being dragged away from me like a criminal. It felt a bit like Deja Vu. I was delirious and a bit foggy from sleep but as I came to, I managed to cling onto him. They weren’t taking him. He wasn’t being locked up and tortured again. I noticed something. The guards were grabbing Theo but they weren’t touching me. No matter what I did, they didn’t touch me. I lashed out and attacked every single guard who was touching Theo and they backed away. I backed him into a corner of the empty stable we used for storing hay and stood in front of him as he crouched in the corner shaking. I’d never seen him like this. ‘Stay away from him.’ I screamed. Theo was trying to speak but he couldn’t. He was bleeding again. Why wasn’t he healing? I was angry. So, so incredibly angry. Oh no.
