Nixon's POV
I glanced at Emery. She's sleeping soundly, so I watched her. She really is beautiful. When I first laid eyes on her, the urge to touch her plump lips with mine was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. I instantly wanted to protect her, even when all the animosity she showed me, I was amused by it.
She's like a little bird with a temper or a bear. My eyes roam her body, she really is tiny. I have never been with anyone so small. Her arms are small, twig muscles, yet her muscles are defined.
My breathing changes when I look at her face. Her skin is flawless, her thick eyelashes come to rest on her cheek, covering the most stunning blue eyes. They almost look purple. Her hair is long and curly, her ponytail resting over her shoulder covering one of her perky mounds. Her chest is the biggest part of her and I can't wait to explore them. Her torso is small, fraying slightly over her narrow hips. Her legs are short and she has the cutest feet. Although I can't see her backside, I know her butt is firm and lifted perfectly into two small round globes.
I feel myself stirred by my observations. Knowing she's untouched doesn't help. I want to feel the tightness around me as I rock into her, thrust after thrust. I'm annoyed when my thoughts are interrupted.
"You're not gay." Amber accuses, quietly.
I looked at her, what the hell was she talking about? "You thought I was gay?" I asked, confused by her accusation.
"No, my mom told me you were. My dad thinks you are there for some reason." She explains, amused.
"Does he?" I said, not really caring.
I go back to looking at my beautiful girl. She looks like a princess, that's what I'll call her.
"If I were you, I'd go with it. Once they learn you're not gay, you're out of here." She laughs.
"Meanwhile, I can help you with Emmy if you want." She stated, helpfully.
"Help me?" I ask.
"Yeah, obviously you want her, judging by the pants tent you got from looking at her. She's tough, trust me, you need my help and she needs a man." She shrugs.
I don't have to look down to know I want my princess. "What kind of help?"
"Well, I can tell you what she likes and dislikes. For example, she likes dark hair, guys who are polite, nice, funny, outgoing and smart. She hates guys who are possessive, rude, over-protective, serious and your height might be an issue. She hates being so
short, but next to you she'll look tiny." She grimaces,
"You might not have a shot."
"I'm not a lot of the things you said she likes, and I'm all the things you just said she hates." I replied, smirking.
"I can tell you, if she catches you looking at her like that, she'll run as fast as she can in the other direction."
"I want her."
"It doesn't matter. If you start looking at her like she's a possession, you won't ever be with her." She warns.
I nodded, letting her know I heard her. I've seen how she reacted to her father. She doesn't want to be controlled. I understand everything Amber is saying. However, not looking at her or making sure she's protected at all times is going to be a challenge. I stood up and walked over to her slumbering body.
I scooped her up and scooped her to my chest almost too quickly.
She weights nothing. I need to get her on some protein shakes to help put some weight on her. I walked up the stairs and opened her bedroom door. I pull the bed spread and sheet down, placing her gently in the middle.
I pulled the blanket back up under her chin and kissed her forehead.
"'I'll have you soon, princess." I turned off her lamp and walked out the door, keeping the door open.
I walk to my room and leave the door open as well. I want to be able to get to her quickly if she needs me. I take my clothes off and put on shorts and tee shirt. I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I'm done, I go check on her and then head to bed.
I don't know why agent Parker thinks I'm gay. I'm guessing because I don't chase everything in a skirt, like the others. I hate desperate women.
Some guys like women who throw themselves at them.
However, I find it degrading and disgusting and I never pay them any attention. That's what I like about Emery. She doesn't care what I look like, she doesn't want me here.
She's not afraid to let me know about it either. I can tell I have a stupid grin on my face, but I don't care.
She makes me smile. No one makes me smile. I almost even laughed a few times. I can't remember when I laughed last. She's going to be just what I need to reintegrate into a normal life, into a strong healthy relationship. She's perfect.
