Dawn. For most people it meant lying in bed for at least another hour, if not more. Particularly the other people in the dorm who’d been partying instead of fighting. Their peace would only last a couple of hours though. One of the three owners of Dragon Soul would be up to wake them to fulfil their part of the deal. Sleep in the bar’s dorms and you were expected to help clear up the next day. I only got out of that bit because they respected my fitness routine. Plus, I helped lift the heavy barrels when they arrived from the brewery.
I blinked a couple of times, getting myself used to the morning light. If I wasn’t careful, I was going to end up late for my regime. And that would not do. I wasn’t going to be the dragon at the top if I didn’t train.
