12 I shouldn’t have come to bed. There was no resting for my brain. All I could do was replay the events of the night and try to work out how I could have played things differently. Maybe if I hadn’t stormed off, then Zara wouldn’t have had to go with her father, and we’d be happily sleeping the night away right now. A scuffling outside my window grabbed my attention…my very confused attention. I didn’t know what could possibly be going on there.
