Kyle was aware the distance from the living quarters of the main palace to the first building closest to the gate and fences was quite far. He and Clement ended up walking for almost twenty minutes at a brisk pace before reaching the area designated as the conference space. There had been a last-minute change to the location because Gordon, who was in charge of the details, hadn’t anticipated the insane amount of interest from the media. Even the foreign press from all over the world had somehow caught on to the news, and many of them had requested to be included. Kyle had balked at the unexpected situation.
