“Do you know you talk in your sleep?” Ari teased as Pax stumbled groggily across the room and seated herself at the table the next morning. Heat rose to Pax’s cheeks. “Well, you snore,” she shot back in a groggy voice. He laughed. “Breakfast?” He held up a plate for her. She rose and sat in the chair beside him and took a bite of bread. “So, what’s the plan?” He finished swallowing the chunk that was in his mouth. “Well, first we must dress. Then we will walk around the back to Shahad’s home. It’s not far from here. Then we—” The front door swung open to reveal a haggard-looking Dinah carrying a bag on her back.
