"Do you think she's saying the truth?" Kiara asked me and I looked at her in astonishment. This girl sure has a knack of trusting people easily, doesn't she?
"Absolutely not. I mean look at her. She looks desperate." I told her, hoping to make her see reason.
"Desperate? Yes. But there's something about her." She said, looking at me like that would make me see whatever she was seeing.
I sighed tiredly. She wasn't wrong with that though. The girl definitely has something about her. I've not been able to read her or see anything about her since we found her half-turned, scared, traumatized and out of control. But that certainly doesn't mean she for sure let Xander escape.
"How about we question her, if there's any loophole in her story then we know for certain that she's lying." I told
