“You really smother your gravy.” Captain King said.
Dawn giggled as she poured the gravy from the jug. Bart laughed and gestured for another gravy jug. He had his plate brought out and he sat next to Captain King.
“What was that about before?” Dawn asked.
“Laura made up a bullshit story about being r***d to try to get attention away from you. I told her if it really happened, she would have told me years ago when she claimed it happened.” Mark said.
“I know the timing isn’t perfect, but what if it really happened?” Dawn asked.
“It didn’t. She hasn’t had a change in behaviour. All she did was steal Jessie’s favourite shirt which is the one you used to wear a lot. And she did that to make it sound like it really happened.” Mark said.
