My Dawn

Chapter 50

Dawn giggled and hiccupped. Patrick rang Jessie and let him know someone spiked her drink and how now she’s stripped and dancing. Jessie was in a video chat and freaking out. He kept calling out to Dawn but she couldn’t hear.

“Who wants to swim?” Dawn asked.

She giggled and saw lots of hands get raised. Dawn started to take her bra off.

“DAWN STOP!” Patrick screamed.

Dawn was now bare chested and ran off the roof to jump into the pool. The drunk guys jumped in and laughed as she giggled and spun around in the water. They swam around her and one picked her up, her breasts exposed to everyone as she giggled and was dropped back into the water. Derek dove off the roof after grabbing her clothes and grabbed her waist. He pulled her to the edge as she laughed and tried getting free.

“Patrick, grab her.” Derek said.

Patrick grabbed her arm. As they pulled her out of the water, they realised her underwear was now see through. Scott took his shirt off.

“Put this on her, we can see through her underwear.” Scott said.

Patrick did as Scott said.

“Everyone can leave now. The rule was no swimming.” Scott said harshly.

“No fair! You would have followed her in if you were straight.” Kyle said.

“I am straight, I also know she’s a minor. And I know she has a boyfriend and is off limits.” Scott said harshly.

“Who’s her boyfriend?” Carl asked.

“Jessie is her boyfriend.” Patrick said.

Their faces went pale and they got out of the water quickly. They grabbed their things and left.

“Dawn, who gave you the drink?” Scott asked.

“I thought you said she didn’t drink alcohol?” Patrick asked.

“She didn’t. We only gave her Pepsi max. Someone gave her a creaming soda and it was spiked. She wouldn’t touch that drink unless it was to be polite.” Scott said.

Patrick looked at the now shivering Dawn. Justin had his phone and Jessie was watching from it. Patrick put his hands around her face and looked closely.

“Get me a light.” Patrick said.

Scott turned his phone torch on and aimed it behind Patrick.

“Her pupils are really dilated. She’s definitely been drugged.” Patrick mumbled.

Dawn giggled. Dawn cupped Patrick’s face with her hands.

“You look so mad, Patricia.” Dawn laughed.

“Dawn, do you know who handed you the pink can?” Lucas asked.

Dawn nodded and laughed. She tried to step back and nearly fell into the pool again. Patrick grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the pool.

“Can you call an ambulance Scott?” Patrick asked.

“Whee whoo.” Dawn giggled.

They laughed.

“Call them quickly.” Patrick said.

He felt her forehead.

“She probably jumped in because she’s burning up.” Patrick said.

“Get the thermometer while I call them.” Scott said.

Lucas ran inside to the kitchen and pulled out a first aid kit with a thermometer inside. He ran back outside. Lucas put it inside her mouth but Dawn kept trying to spit it out.

“Dawn, stop.” Patrick said.

Dawn groaned as she had her mouth held shut by Lucas. After a bit Lucas pulled it out.

“She’s definitely getting a fever.” Lucas said.

Lucas showed Patrick the thermometer.

“Dawn, we are going to take you inside, and you can ride the whee whoo.” Patrick said.

Dawn giggled and pulled free. She skipped toward the house and ran into the glass door. Lucas and Patrick laughed as she fell on her ass.

“That’s what you get for your behaviour.” Patrick mumbled.

Dawn got to her feet and pushed the door. It didn’t move. They laughed again.

“Dawn, pull the damn door.” Scott laughed.

Dawn pulled it and then laughed. They laughed at her as she walked inside. Dawn walked towards her drink and was about to drink it until Scott took it from her.

“No, you don’t. You sit and stay.” Scott said.

Dawn sat and kept kicking her feet.

“What do you think it was?” Lucas asked.

“A young girl dancing in tight clothes with the figure she has, my guess is she was just roofied. If we didn’t notice, she might have gotten raped.” Scott said.

He sounded really angry. Patrick sighed.

“Hand Jessie to her.” Patrick said softly.

Justin listened and Dawn gasped as she saw Jessie.

“Where’d you come from?” Dawn asked.

“Dawn, are you okay?” Jessie asked.

Dawn giggled and nodded. Jessie heard what Scott thinks was going to happen.

“Dawn, promise me to never drink something given to you by someone else other than Patrick, Lucas or Scott when you are at a party.” Jessie said.

Dawn looked at him.

“I miss you.” Dawn said.

“Dawn, promise me.” Jessie said.

Dawn heard a girl say Jessie’s name. Her face dropped when she saw an arm wrap around Jessie’s shoulder.

“Go to your girlfriend.” Dawn said in a cold voice.

Dawn hung up the phone.

“Dawn, that was harsh.” Patrick said.

“A girl touched him and he didn’t stop her.” Dawn cried.

Dawn faced the back of the couch as she cried.

Patrick grabbed his phone.

[Did you really let a girl touch you while you were on a video chat?] – Patrick texted.

[It isn’t what it looks like.] – Jessie texted.

[Dawn is crying into the couch. You just broke her heart. Don’t talk to her or me again.] – Patrick texted.

[Patrick, it isn’t what you think!] – Jessie texted.

Jessie kept trying to call but Patrick kept declining the call. Scott sat next to Dawn and pat her shoulder.

“Would you like some chocolate, Dawn?” Scott asked.

“She only eats chocolate with a strawberry milk drink.” Patrick said.

“Luckily we have some.” Scott said.

Scott got up and grabbed the strawberry milk and poured it into a cup. He then grabbed a Cadbury crunchy chocolate bar. Scott walked over to Dawn and offered it to her. Dawn sat up slowly and drank the milk as she ate the chocolate.

Scott and Patrick both patted her back as she cried while eating.

“Dawn, things will work out. He might not have been the one, but there are plenty of chances to find real love.” Patrick said softly.

Dawn nodded.
