A cheat
After the call Lisa sat down on her butt staring at the florescent lights along the streets while she waited patiently for her friend still holding the money bag tightly.
BIG BOSS promised hera handsome pay, she was going to get her brother good food and also buy some drugs for him.
just as she was day dreaming on what to do with the money BIG BOSS gave her , a black sienna pulled over causing the tires to screech.
Lisa immediately jumped up to see who it was, upon seeing Sara she sat back down,with exhaustion being so evident on her face.
although she now worked for BIG BOSS she still does multiple jobs.
"you almost scared the h*ck out of me" Lisa told Sara while picking up her bag still sitting.
"where you close by before?" Lisa couldn't help but ask it felt like, she just called her about five minutes ago.
"yes I was close by,so how was it?"
"it was frightening, I was So scared but it went well" Lisa told Sara ,the gun incident still in her memory.
"let's get going BIG BOSS will be expecting us by 9:00" Sara said checking her phone.
they drove quite quickly to the underground warehouse, getting out of the car they entered the basement, the lights were dim, girls were packing drugs into transparent bags while the guys stacked them up.
Lisa could not believe she was in a place like this, although Sara brought her here, she did not work here , she served as a bodyguard in BIG BOSS house making her a little familiar with the basement.
The light got making the place darker but lisa moved closer to sara so s not to lose her way.
sara pulled open a thick curtain and stepped inside while Lisa also did the same. "BIG BOSS" Sara greeted while Lisa just nodded at him.
BIG BOSS was a fat man with big and round belly, he sat on a wide arm chair wearing a long shiny robe causing his belly to be exposed. he wore about six different large gold chains of various sizes and also held a lit cigarette on his hand smoking slowly.
The people in the room looked at Lisa and Sara as they approached BIG BOSS, they wondered what small kids like them would want in a place like this, no offence but Lisa looked like a seventeen year old while she was nineteen, when Sara looked sixteen while she was nineteen also.
"the money" Lisa handed the money over to a bald huge man standing close to BIG BOSS.
" he will pay the rest by 10:00 tonight"
BIG BOSS just responded with a "hmmm"
He took a long drag from his cigarette then released a smoke ring, he kept smoking paying no attention to Lisa and Sara before him. This was the first time both Sara and Lisa delivered goods so they were at a of loss of what to do.
although Sara worked with BIG BOSS, she was only a bodyguard not a courrier and she Just started working with him about four months ago.
After four minutes he looked up at Lisa with lazy eyes "Lisa right" his voice deep and low, maybe it was due to the long wait or his voice Lisa suddenly felt goosebumps all over with fear crawling under her skin.
"ye----s" clearing her throat she answered
" yes sir"
" so what was the agreement I seem to have forgotten how much i promise you" BIG BOSS stated with a smirk plastered on his face.
Both Lisa and Sara frowned on hearing what BIG BOSS said.
Although Lisa had not done something like this before but she grew up on the streets, she knew what he was implying.
if she said the agreed amount he would say she tried to rob him or find a way to rope her for taking out of the money under pretense of being greedy and if she reduced the money he could still cut out of it giving her only stipend.
Because of this Lisa said nothing, he looked up and said "hmm?" asking for her response.
knowing silence would not solve this she wanted to say "I don't remember" but Sara beat her to it "a hundred dollars" Lisa gasped and stared at Sara giving her a questioning look but Sara didn't even hold an expression on her face.
"hahaha" BIG BOSS burst into laughter before his face changed revealing a very dark look the whole atmosphere turned cold.
"why will I give you that much?,it shows you are clearly trying to rob me" BIG BOSS spat out angrily. Lisa felt she heard a funny joke but didn't talk back.
on a good day she would have given him a piece of her mind, but today after all she had been through today Lisa only wanted to collect her money and bounce,
'Charlie was still at the hospital' she thought.
she couldn't help but still talk back " sir you promised to give me A hundred dollars claiming it is for two months payment upon hearing the reason I wanted to work with you " Lisa angrily reminded him.
this man was A cheat extremely shameless.
