His Proposal

Jason's POV

"I'm winning the games, Zaiden" I smirked at my boss

Yeah you guys heard it right. I'm with my boss at the mall, playing pin bowling.

Zaiden is a cool boss. He will be cool, if you do your work correctly.

"Oh yeah. If you are pro, I'm super pro. Remember I'm your boss" he said

"Yeah? Remember Juniors can't win seniors." I mocked him. He was my junior at school.

We finished the game and having dinner in nearby restaurant. This is my first time going out with him, other than business related ones. I couldn't refuse when he asked me to go out with him. He wanted my opinion on something important and it felt important.

Zaiden is a good guy. Life has been cruel to him. Actually to both us but I feel bad for the guy.

Zaiden lost his boyfriend in accident, during his college days. It's been five years. The guy has never dated anyone since then. His family and business kept him sane. But his family is worried about his future.

Whereas in my case my parents passed away. Our company went bankrupt. Mike my boyfriend back then dumped me, for a girl. After that I started working as secretary of Zaiden's father. I am now working as his secretary.

I suffered, because I chose a bad guy. I don't know why Life was so cruel to Zaiden

Zaiden snapped his fingers before me to get my attention

"Is everything alright, you zoned out?" he asked worried.

Look at this guy, we are here to discuss about something he was concerned about. Yet he is worried for me.

"Yeah sorry. You said you wanted to discuss something" I probed

He sighed at that question, making me frown.

"Yeah about that. Actually, there is a guy I like. It's about him" He rubbed the back of his neck nervously

"Okay.."

"So.., he is my crush from my school days. I would say, I have came to know about myself because of him. I didn't knew I was interested in guys, before he entered my life.

However even before I could confess, I came to know, he was seeing another guy. My crush was a good guy. He was head over heels for his lover. I knew he planned his future with the guy.

I moved to a different city to pursue my bachelor degree. Addison came into my life, during my college days. He changed my life completely. He showered the love I couldn't handle. I fell for him hard. After Addison passed away I was devastated.

But my family pulled me back from my misery. Banes Group of Companies has became my priority, next to my family ofcourse.

After I came back, I met him and came to know that his lover is not in the picture anymore.

I don't know how could someone ditch him.

He is a beautiful soul, who is kind to others and who love his family and friends very dearly. He is someone who put others before himself. He is still the angel that I fell in love with. " he completed.

He must really love this guy. The way he is speaking so highly about the dude, is really adorable

"First love ah? Interesting. So did you tell him" I asked

"No.."He shaked his head

"Why? What are you waiting for? Another guy to take him away again?"

"No he is not ready now"

"Did he said that to you?"

"What if he hates me after that, whatif he stops talking to me? I will lose his friendship too"

"Why would anybody reject you? Share your true feelings. Tell him everything"

"All I want is to bring happiness into his life, into our life. I don't know when I started to love him again. It just happened again or it was always there. I don't know how to explain.

All I want now is to make him mine. To make him a happy husband. To lead happy life with our families.

Afterall he is my first love. " he said.

All I could see is honesty in his words. The guy must be really lucky. But this stupid boss of mine. Why is he afraid of confessing his love. Which fool will let go the opportunity of spending his entire life with Zaiden.

"So, tell him that" I said irritated by his stupid fear

"I did" he said

"What!?"

"You are the one, Jason." he said.
