MAX'S POV
Ava crossed her arms over her chest and continued, "I can't travel just like that. What about Sophie? I can't leave without her," she stated. "I was so busy with the department store that I didn't spend time with Sophie. Now that I'm free and she is on vacation you are dragging me to a business trip with you. That's not fair."
That was a response I had prepared for because I had expected it.
"Oh about that." I dipped my hand into my pocket and brought out a white envelope.
