Chapter 29: Cabin Revisited
Blake Tully, Tom Renolds, and Bob Hart all have things to do on the ranch. They tend to the Appaloosas, take care of the barn, and work with visiting buyers. They show off our product with much skill. Tom cleans the equipment. Bob helps with the trailers. Blake is a great right arm to Mama, and I get lost on the ranch’s acreage, in a state of avoidance, just wanting to be left alone.
I’m no longer needed here in Hiding, I decide. Between Mama and our three ranch hands, the ranch and business can function just fine without me.
