I thought I would be seeing Father alone and that was why he chose to have me dressed by the maid. However, what I didn't fathom was the fact that Alpha Jared was already with him. If he is here already then there is no other way for me to convince Father.
Not when the Alpha is looking at me as if he just found a new amusement.
Probably a play toy.
Alpha Jared stepped forward, his eyes not leaving mine. “She is indeed beautiful like you said, Alpha Marcus.” Alpha Jared said, stepping forward.
He stretched forth his hand for me to take but I don't want his disgusting lips to touch the back of my hand. Instead of taking his hand, I bowed deeply as courtesy demanded.
“Welcome to the Pack, Alpha Jared,” I said and raised my head up.
