“Baby you must take responsibility for me.” He said in a serious tone making her tremble.
It was a sunny morning when a call woke her up from her sleep. Ayana unconsciously reached the side of her bed to find her phone but can't find it. Her hand searched for the ringing phone until she realized that her phone was gone and the loud noise was from the telephone on her working table.
Her eyes squinted from the sun as her hand quickly covered her eyes from the blinding sunlight that came outside the window. Her telephone keeps on ringing making her groan irritated.
“Ohh! Coming…” She shouted and lazily climbed out of her bed.
Her head is still cloudy from waking up early in the morning and from lack of sleep. "Damn, Migraine!" She groaned still holding her head.
Ayana Stay still for a second before she remembered the things that happened to her the other day. When she thinks about it, she wanted to struggle his neck for his arrogance. Take responsibility my ass!
It’s been a day since she ran out of the hotel. Wearing only his white shirt and a small amount of money that she stole from his wallet. She didn’t even know how she gets home safe, all she remembers was paying the taxi driver and arriving from her bed, and after that crazy morning, she just found herself woke up in the afternoon.
If you think about it, I think that nothing happened between them because she knows it herself. First of all, she would rather have s*x with someone who is more handsome than him and not an asshole like him. ‘Well, he does have a hot body and nice butt.’ Second, she preferred having s*x without the presence of alcohol.
‘That would be more enjoyable right? Remembering all those details.’ Her cheeks burn after imagining it. And lastly, only her first and last boyfriend s***h her husband could get her virginity. ‘Although, she didn’t have a boyfriend right now she still prefers to do it with him.’
Because she's loyal and she believes that having s*x is a sacred thing that only married couples should do after the wedding. And even though she doesn't believe in happily ever after, she still hopes that there is someone out there for her.
She almost stumbled on the feet of the sofa when the phone rings again. "Ohh! coming....." She shouted angrily to the phone.
“Hello?” She said in a mad tone.
“Yah!" The voice shouted to her after she picked up the phone. Making her migraine starts to kick in again.
"Why didn’t you answer my call?! I’ve been calling you since yesterday you know?! I thought something happened to you when you suddenly vanish at the club. Do you know how worried I am?” Tina her cousin, nag her continuously making her ear deaf from her loud voice. She moves the phone away from my ear as she continued giving her an earful.
“I thought I need to call the police just to find you. I was even thinking of calling Andrew for help. Thank goodness you answer the telephone in your house. If not... What am I going to do with you? My gosh! You’re stressing me out. ” Tina hysterically said.
She could imagine her cousin walking back and forth with her hands on her hips while biting her lips from the stress.
'Well, it's not really her fault, she was drunk and she wanted to go home. And if she remembered it clearly she did say that "she's going home" to her that night. And maybe she didn't hear it. Still, Ayana is thankful that she cared for her.' Even if she wanted to end the call because of her loud voice and migraine she still holds it.
What can she do? She was kidnaped the other night. She can’t even recall what happened, and now, her cousin was nagging her for an explanation but she didn’t even know where to start.
‘Is it her fault? Or his fault? She’s causing too much trouble and stress on Tina right now. She can’t even take care of herself for one night. What is wrong with her?’ She is desperately wanted to say sorry to tina for causing her headache.
“Tina? Tina!” Ayana called her when she started to talk to herself again.
“I’m fine, okay! No need to worry. I was dizzy the other night that’s why I went home early.” Ayana wanted to assure tina that everything is okay.
“Really?” Tina on the other line confirming it, if what she said was true. Crossing her finger she nods repeatedly as if Tina can see her right now.
“Yup, stop fretting okay. You’ll get wrinkles if you keep worrying about me.” Ayana joke at her to ease her worry. Tina chuckle on the other line making her smile too.
“Silly, of course, I will worry about you. You’re my cousin and I promise to Ante that I would take care of you.” Tina said making her feel guilty at the same time happy.
Tina Vios was her cousin from the mother's side. They live in the same subdivision and went to the same school. They grow up together and became best friends. Even if Tina was two years older than her their closeness was special for her, she was like her sister and best friend.
That’s why when she decided to live on her own and be independent, her mother asks Tina her cousin to take care of her. 'Even if she wanted to become independent on her own, she can’t push the people she loves and cares about. Just because she wanted to stand on her own feet.’
“I know, that’s why I love you too. But you need to stop acting like my mother you know, how can I have a boyfriend if you keep on worrying about me.” Tina laughs at what she said.
“Don’t worry okay! I will call you soon. Love you.” Ayana ends her call. She didn’t wait for a reply because she knows she would ask her again.
Now she just needs to find her phone. Before her mother calls her and worries about her.
"Where did I put it?" The last thing she remembered using it was still in the bar and she was sure she put it on her pouch but where is her pouch? "Did I leave it on the bar?" But if it was left in the bar someone would have already found it and answer the call. She doubts if it was stolen in the bar, the bar was high class and only rich people can access it, so it would be impossible. Also, it’s not even in the hotel room. She already searches it before she leaves but nothing. Her only clue is to call the bar or keep on calling her phone until someone answers it.
Ayana was still thinking of her phone when she remembers the person she's with. Speaking of Ugly hooligan. Just remembering his ugly face, makes her day bad. She doesn't know why but something inside her hates him. She’s not even a hateful person but remembering his smug face teasing her makes her boil with anger.
“Ohh...That ugly hooligan! Just forget about him. He's not worth it.” She mumbles to herself laying lazily to her bed. Her anger started to rose again just thinking of him.
“Ha!” She let out a heavy breath to release some negativity out from her mind.
Ayana stares blankly at the ceiling as the sunlight passes through the curtains making faint light across the room. She blinks a couple of times before she decided to leave her untidy bed. She lazily walks toward the kitchen and started humming some random songs to erase some bad memory while preparing her breakfast and coffee.
“Mm! Smells good.” She takes a sip of the coffee while flipping the egg and bacon on the pan. She was still humming when she unconsciously touch her lips. Recalling what happened after the confrontation.
