"We did it!" Isla shrieks, launching herself at me as the final buzzer sounds.
The scoreboard shows 4-2, and we're officially heading to the territorial championships. The crowd goes wild, our teammates pile on top of each other, and I can barely breathe through the excitement.
"Undefeated season, baby!" Jake yells, ripping off his helmet.
Coach Gray tries to look stern, but I catch him wiping his eyes. "All right, all right," he barks. "Settle down. We've got work to do before championships."
But nobody's settling down. This is the first time in fifteen years that our team made it to territoriales. We're making history.
