Penelope's POV
Perching on the bed as Isla glanced at me. "The party is happening tonight? The one everyone's talking about? You're invited. Officially. The host specifically asked for you to come."
"What party?" I ask, though I have a sinking feeling I already know.
"Jake Winters end-of-season bash," Isla explains, and my stomach drops. "It's supposed to be huge. Like, the biggest party of the year. Everyone who's anyone will be there."
Jake Winters. Son of the Winters pack Alpha, notorious party animal, and more importantly, Timothy's friend. The last place I want to be is at a party where I might run into my former mate, especially now that the whole world knows our business.
"I don't think that's a good idea," I say carefully.
"Actually, I think it's the perfect idea," Isla count
