Chapter Forty Two
December 31st, 11:30 pm. Stephanie's POV We were gathered in the living room watching the New Year's celebration in New York. I was happily sipping on champagne when I stood up at the slight pinch I felt from my nether regions. Everyone turned to me as I looked down at the floor and saw a large pool of water on the floor. I turned to Zander and said softly, "I think my water just broke." Zander jumped up with a smile on his face, picked me up bridal style, carried me to our room, changed me into one of his big t-shirts, and said, "Just sit right there while I go get the doctor. I am sure everyone will be here in no time. And remember to breathe." I rolled my eyes at Zander before he left, pulled the sheet over my exposed legs, and smiled when the rest of the family arrived in the room.
