PROLOGUE
At the heart of the capital of the country stands St. Clair Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Sports [aka The Academy], the most prestigious high school in the country. Only elite families can afford the tuition, and only the best of the best can enter the esteemed institution.
The Academy is founded by the first members of The True Religion. One of their main beliefs is that homosexuality is a mortal sin, for they believe that you can only be qualified for eternal life if you can reproduce and preserve humanity. The True Religion is also the main belief system that the country has.
Homosexuality is illegal in this country and is seen as immoral. All suspected queer individuals are sent to The Camp, a place where they can seek help to get back on the right path.
The Academy is devoted to adhering to its belief system and to work hand-in-hand with the government to send suspected individuals to The Camp.
The Academy is also known for its globally competitive curriculum. It aims to bring out the best in every student. They are committed to developing their students so they can be ready for tertiary and post-graduate education in Ivy League Schools and other top universities in the world.
The Academy is also known for its alumni. They are all successful individuals and professionals across industries and societies. Most of them are CEOs, billionaires, lawyers, doctors, diplomats, global leaders, politicians, and such. It is because The Academy only hones exceptional students.
They have no tolerance in queerness and in the so-called l***q+ Community. In this country and in this school, heteronormativity and homophobia are the norms.
No queer individuals shall have space in this sacred country.
