TESSA'S POV
Gabe was trying his best to calm Gayner down but he refused to be calmed. Gayner was betraying all of his covered anxiety for leaving a person whom he had grown up to always see. To Gayner, it was like death.
I hadn't talked since but seeing the situation right now, I couldn't possibly ignore it. I went to Gayner and held him. I was ready to tell him any tales I knew as long as it would keep Gayner together that moment.
"Calm down, Gayner. You would see Gabe later on," I whispered in Gayner's ear. However, Gayner wasn't ready to listen to me at all.
