ADRIAN'S POV
"Let's move," Envoy Corona said slowly.
Nathan and the kids were to follow Envoy Corona. As they went, Bayner ran back and held Tessa.
"Tessa!" Bayner cried. "I am not going anywhere without you."
"Oh no!" Tessa cried. "Calm down, Bayner. Nathan is right there with you. He will protect you."
Nathan went back and held Bayner. He was also reassuring Bayner.
"Don't worry about Tessa," Nathan was telling Bayner.
That made little Bayner mad.
"I am not worrying about Tessa!" Bayner screamed. "Tessa is an adult and she can take care of herself. I am only worrying about myself."
Nathan was keeping all of his calmness. I never knew him to be such a patient fella.
"Okay, I am sorry," Nathan apologized. "I didn't mean to get you angry, Bayner."
"Sorry, Bayner," Tessa chirped
