TESSA’S POV
The streets was bright and cars filled the road. New York was truly a city that never slept. We drove for a while and a comfortable silence enveloped the car. I was quite anxious and wanted to ask Adrian where exactly he was taking me but I did not want him to think he made me anxious. So I waited, even though it was a hard wait. The drive was long or maybe I felt it was since I was anxious. We finally stopped in front of a gift shop.
“A gift shop? Really? I’m so surprised.” I said causing him to laugh as he alighted, telling me to stay in the car. He went in alone and I wondered what was taking him so long. Tapping the window glass to call my attention, he opened the door and I alighted.
