Karen has always been the one pushing those who were always against Raiden to do what they do, so Raiden informing her about their level of gullibility was just as though him reassuring her that those whom Karen had been silently been sponsoring to stand against Raiden were indeed doing a perfect job, and that did nothing but made her happy that her plans were playing out perfectly well.
