TESSA'S POV
I slept that night with anxiety. Different questions that worried the mind were existing in my heart. Ever since I had been rejected and sent off by Adrian, I hadn't set my eyes on him. It was therefore making me so anxious. I tossed from one corner of the bed to another in quick succession without making any success at last. When I found out that my moves weren't working, I sat up and decided to get a glass of water. I was feeling thirsty.
I got to the sitting room and found a person sitting on one of the chairs. I was so frightened as everything was dark.
"Yah!!!" My scream went. I held my chest as I heard my heart beating louder than normal. In the light of all these, the person stood up and moved nearer to me.
