Raven "Don't worry about it" I sighed, "So what are you thinking about?" I inquired wearing a smile on my face. "You know what let's go train" "Well I'm done with mine already" "I guess you don't have the balls to run another twenty laps... You're so scared blessed with the strength of a child I guess" "You would take back those words you said" "Why don't you make me?" "You know I can't do that," "What do you mean?" "Are you weak?" "You're forcing me to hit you" "Yes I want you to hit me" "That's weird" "I guess you don't have the balls to do it then" "Don't force me " These words sank into my mind as I slept off. "Be prepared to be a fighter" this was exactly what I wanted, a time to reflect and get closer to my goal, maybe I would become a werewolf one of these days and I would be able to control the powers that I have, he has to start training me before had because I feel like there's chaos ahead and it seems the world is depending on me for protection. These thoughts and many others crowded my mind as I dozed off, I felt so pale when I opened my eyes. The Delta was already awake and stretching out his arms, it seemed like he was awake for a while before now and it made me wonder how many hours of sleep that he had, it's so hard trying to sleep for a little while and yet someone gets comfortable with having like two hours of sleep. unimaginable!!!. "I guess you're awake, it's time to train" he stutters as he stares at me, I guess he Coi tell that I was tired at this point. Well I was tired and really wanted more hours to sleep. "Oh how interesting, I get barely six hours of sleep and now training begins" I sighed wondering if he would agree to my words, I wore a smile on my face as I stared into his eyes. "Skipping your sessions would make your training more complex and hard I would advise you get through the beginning stage before the intermediary stage and then the final stage... If you're a real werewolf The moon goddess could grant you your wish of having a wolf and then you can prove to your sleepy friend that you're one of us and not a human" this really moved me, I wanted Leah to respect me, when she knows I'm werewolf and her father's mate, she would respect me as her would be step mother. "That's my life's wish" I chortled wearing a smile on my face as I stared into the eyes of Keane's Delta. Getting tired of addressing him with his rank. "Good now get up and let's train, time is not our neighbor and you have to get ready because you have a purpose you'll have to accomplish" he divulged as he wanted to help me get to my feet, I refused. "Right after you" I divulged, u didn't understand how I got up from the bed so eager and vibrant, I felt weak few moments ago. I guess my excitement got the better side of me. As soon as we got outside of the house, I was surprised when I saw the soldier that got shot, running back and forth with ease. I guess his injuries had healed, staring at mine, I felt very sad. "Let me have a look" "What do you want to do?" "Do you want to train with both legs and make the best of it or limp around and get sorry for yourself when you're filled with the frustration of failing" "Do whatever you want to do but please it shouldn't hurt....." I closed my eyes, wondering what he had in mind to do. He rubbed his palms, his palms were so hot as he placed them on the bruise, I groaned within me, trying to hide my pains. I felt a chilled air blowing through the bruise... It felt in the same manner as when you open up a refrigerator. "There you have it, you can use both legs to train" He chuckles as I stared at my skin, no sign of bruises on my things. "How did you?" I stutter as he shuts me up, "We should begin" He didn't even answer my question, I hated myself for being scared and not being able to know how he healed my wounds. "So what do we start with?" I inquired wondering if we're starting with push ups, staring at the backyard. This house felt more like a training ground, this is also part of Keane's vacation which is why he's so fit at that age. "This is what we start with, you'll have fifty laps... You see that tree there" "Yes" I was shocked staring at the tree that has blood marked on it. "Going to that tree and back to is a lap, you'll have to repeat it fifty times" "That's absurd" I retorted as I felt sorry for the words that I said, he's my master so I've got to obey him. "I'm sorry for my unruly outburst" I apologized as he concedes to my words, "It happens, I know that... Well you'll have to do that in an hour, if you can't finish on time you'll add 10 laps to it.." he wore a smile on his face, I guess the 10 laps was added as a result of my unruly behavior. "Which you say if I fail, that's 60 laps" I sighed, I didn't like the fact that he was punishing me. Avoid acting stupid or he might just punish you again... "You're right..." He sighed wearing a smile on his face. "This... on my first day... This is way into the final stage" I stuttered, wondering if this was actually what any beginner would do. "Do what your master says" Leah always letting the world that she has arrived, so irrelevant and I hated it for a fact that she made me feel this way. Exchanging words with Leah would only waste my time and add nothing to my existence. "I don't even know his name and why are you awake? You ought to be sleeping" I roared wearing a smirk on my face, Leah seemed to be interested in striking a conversation with me. "Well I'm not... And his name is Nate so you can call him master Nate" Leah chuckles, a nice handsome man who's Keane's Delta, possesses a beautiful name. "Now that I know your name..." I chuckled as he interrupted. "Now that she's here, you'll have to prove to her that you're a werewolf and this is nothing compared to what you can do" If Leah's attitude would serve as my motivation, then so be it. "Let's do this" I paced up for the next fifteen laps, wondering why I wasn't getting weakened. I continued, feeling so good and excited, getting to number 40... I realized I had twenty minutes left. "You've got 10 more laps to go, Raven you can do this" I was distracted and it felt like the strength I had all vanished into thin air. Five laps remaining, I felt like dying at the spot. I couldn't take it anymore , felt like the next step should be a hole that would swallow me and make these pains cease with my death. "You're not worth it, this is so lame, watching a werewolf do this... I told you that this was a total waste of your time. You never listened... I run more than a hundred laps every morning and this is half of what I do and she's already dying... How ridiculous" these words angered me as I paced through the agony and finished up the five laps before the time was over. "Two minutes before time, that's awesome for a beginner like you, but you're so tired I don't think you can go through the next phase your body is weak" I was proud of myself that Nate actually got impressed at my finish. He must have doubted my quest to finish this task. "You have to prepare for the next task" Nate chortles as I felt like my heart could pop right off my chest. "Let's see how you hold up Raven" Leah throwing her fierce words as always. "She has to leave, she's distracting me" I complained, wondering if she would agree to my words. "I'm afraid I can do that, infact I see her as a spectator and you don't pursue spectators you entertain them" Nate disagreed to my words. "Fine I can deal with it" I sighed as Leah laughed as she walked inside and pulled an arm chair with her. I guess she wanted to be more than a spectator, a judge per say. "How ridiculous?" I hissed as Leah blew kisses at me. "Seems this is serious and you're the center of attraction Raven, so you need to get up and let's move on to the next task" Nate advised as I raised myself up and wore a smile on my face. "The next task is you lie straight" He ordered as his assistant, the other soldier rolled out a mat and I laid on it. "Now raise your knees up make sure your back heels are touching your butts" he continued... "Have you accomplished that?" I was glad that my back heels were touching my butt. "Yes" "Now raise your chest and make sure your chin comes in contact with your knees. Since you're a beginner, Leah would assist you" he instructed. "Oh why's she the one, he can handle it" I retorted pointing to the soldier who rolled out the mat. "Fine... He'll handle it" He agreed to my words. "Kyle wouldn't like this if he was around" PRESENT "Hey what's wrong with you, you look pale"Leah divulged wondering why she would say I look pale all of a sudden, she brought be back to reality but I remembered urging her to lay a fist on my face. "Do I look pale to you?" I retorted knowing that she wanted to use this as an excuse not to spar with me. "Yes you are, you need rest" she was getting serious with her words as Master Nate walked out of the cabin. He stares at me in a weird manner, "You're a half breed, whenever you go back to your memories you get weakened and at a time you might get yourself injured" he growls, wondering how it affects me going back to my past memories. It's so confusing. "Well my memories guide me so I have no choice" I disagreed with his words. "You go at it everytime, you can't listen to a word I said, I guess they voice has messed your head so bad that you don't even know who to trust or what to do which is why you dwell on the past" "Now you want to trash me with your words, I hate it when you do so and since you're conversant with the word which, i would say I want a fight, a duel with you. I'm way into the intermediary stage and this voice you've humiliated will prove to you that my might isn't messed up" I made this as a challenge hoping that my voice would speak to me and help me win this battle. "Hey if you're there please listen up I'm about to fight my master for disrespecting you so you have to make me win this fight... Make me smash him like that bag of coconuts" I muttered to myself as I turned away from Nate. "Are you there?" "Raven are you ready?" He inquired ass he pulled off his robe. "Of course I'm ready... Leah be the judge of this fight..." "I know how this would end and Raven I would like to say this... You just made the greatest mistake of your life by challenging your master" Is this really a mistake? How do I defeat Nate? How do I face Leah's nagging if I lose this fight?
