TESSA'S POV
The men held Nathan and looked on at me. I could tell they were familiar faces.
Actually, they were guards from Adrian's pack. I was startled that they were here with us. I started to wonder and ponder.
Maybe, Adrian had seen the kids and concluded that they were his and with that, he sent his guards to bring me and Nathan to him. Would I be punished? The thoughts in my mind could sicken a healthy person. As for a sick person, the thoughts in my mind were enough to kill such person. But as for now, I had to do what I had to do. Nathan must be saved from the clutches of Adrian's guards. The guards were ruthless enough to kill anyone who stood in their way. As for me, my mind was strictly decided. I wouldn't allow the guards to mess with either me or Nathan.
