I drove slowly to Nathan's place. I needed to cool my head down, and the gentle breeze that blew into my car while driving along the road was just what I needed.
I grabbed a bottle of water from the car cooler and gulped it down furiously. The event that happened between me and Adrian this morning still makes my heart burn.
Adrian's recent attitude was pissing me off. One time he is sweet, and the next, he acts rude and annoying.
I noticed he was always angry whenever Nathan's name was mentioned, but he needed to know that I was not his wife anymore and my kids weren't his to make claim of. The faster he comes into compliance with this, the better.
