It was a fairly large basketball court, filled with people. The boys sprinted ahead of us and looked back at us when they found an empty seat. We sat just in time for the game, the view was fair enough and the atmosphere was euphoric. The game started and the boys enjoyed it. Adrian has always been a fan of basketball but it was like his mind was somewhere else. He kept looking at his watch as time drew nearer for me to leave. I stood up and he looked at me.
“I have to go now. I would meet you boys at the house later this evening.” I said to him.
“The boys and I would go to the amusement park after. We can pick you up after your meeting.” he offered.
“Don’t worry about that.” I said and kissed the boys goodbye, they were so fixed on the game so it was easy spilling away.
