Yumi's Love

Yumi was there just watching Yun at the very end of the bridge where he would be escorting HyungYuk to the underworld. She could see that Yun looked tired but was very determined to make it and take HyungYuk until the end of their destination. Yumi was waving at him but it was as if he was not seeing anything. His mind was actually pre-occupied with things about Sunny that he didn't want to forget. Yumi remembered the time that she first saw Yun. It was his 6th grade then, but she had already noticed him about the time he first came to the town and at that school where she and Sunny were studying. She just lived beside Yun, the house beside the valley where her grandmother grew chrysanthemums, daisies, tulips and roses. Her grandmother's farm was the famous supplier of flowers in their town, the biggest greenhouse, "Eunha Haven". One time, Yun went there to buy a bunch of flowers for her mother's birthday and his grandmother gave him a lot of flowers in different colors. Her grandmother loved Yun because, as most of the townsfolk say, he was really a good, kind and generous boy. Even their family were known for being a good and well-off family too.

Her fond feeling started from the day that she accidentally stained her uniform with the cranberry juice that she bought but was hit by a ball and spilled all of the drinks on her blouse and skirt. Yun was there and went to her to help her clean her dress. He even gave her his handkerchief to help her clean it. It was during that time and until he fell sick and went absent from school for a while and was reincarnated after being a deity of the flowers, plants and trees. She always had that plant to take care of and it was given to her when she died and reincarnated after. She was told to let it stay fresh and take care of it and take off the other plants too. She came back after being comatose for years. Her grandmother was always taking care of her, always believing that one day she'd wake up. She always brings her flowers to the hospital and brings her this small sprouting yellow cosmos-like plant. Every day without fail, her grandmother would offer the spirit of the sky to help her have her Yumi back, her cherished granddaughter. She was very happy when she received a call from her doctor that Yumi was getting better and saw that she had woken up.

She hurriedly goes to the hospital where she is in to see her. It was that time she saw that something was different from Yumi. She was never a happy and playful child, but she became more reserved and quiet. She only talks very rarely. That is if she sees the plants wilting or and goes there and talks to the plants as if they can relate to what she is saying. She would always water all the plants and put all of them in better care. Besides those, she can still remember her feelings that she hid from Yun, who she considers her best friend. Until the time that he told her that he confessed his love for Sunny and until the time of his mother's death. She was always with him. She never left him and guided and helped him with every obstacle he had, even after he met his tragic accident. She was the one who asked the other deities to help him. He just couldn't decide what Yun's fate was, since it was not her jurisdiction but she was always for him. Always just guiding and watching him and helping him on the other side from very distant, so an not he will not see her.

She also saw when he proposed to Sunny and his eagerness to be pass all the challenges just to get his life back and she even talked to the group deities again to help Yun but Yumi was asked to give up the most important thing in her life " The yellow cosmos like plant" that symbolizes her own life. She was asked to give this up in return for Yun's going back to become a normal human. She accepted that and now, as he was passing the bridge and was near to the end of his journey to get what he wanted to fulfill. She is ready to sacrifice this for Yun's sake and happiness. She embraced him as he reached his destination and told him " Be careful of yourself, soon you'll be asked to visit the head deity to get your wish granted. Make sure to be happy and take care of Sunny and yourself. I will always be your good friend and Sarangheyo Oppa!" she whispered and told her heart out. Yun was surprised at what he heard and liked. It was as if Yumi was saying goodbye to him, but because of his tiredness he couldn't think straight about it and was confused.

Supervisor Deol caught him and took him to another room where he needed to freshen up and rest and there his suits were ready so he could face the group of Dities with head deities to award him his wish. He freshened up and ate a little, but he was so excited to to the deity's room. Supervisor Deol was there waiting for him outside the door and escorted him to the other room where the two white doors with an angel sculpted image- which are very huge, like its never ending and infinite and can reach up to heaven. He went inside with Supervisor Deol and saw some familiar faces, like the head librarian, where he always go to do his tasks, was there. She was Head Dami, the wife of Supervisor DeolShi and the head deity. He was looking for Yumi but was told that she would not be there to avoid problems from her being the closet human and underworld person in his life. He saw the flower that Yumi so cherished on her chair instead. It was still glowing just like before. The head Gul talked and commended his perseverance and dedication to help HyungSuk to cross over and his heart to accept and forgive the person who killed his mother. He was congratulated for always doing his job, though sometimes he was in trouble because of not following instructions but doing the tasks as he pleased. Whenever there is some problem that may arise, but since he has not caused any trouble to other humans and was able to help others as well, even if it is not his duty, he was congratulated for being such a good, kind and helpful human. He never neglects his duty to protect and guide humans and also uses his power wrongly. He was a golden scroll and it glowed when he opened it and slowly the letters and words were forming. " We hereby in the underworld command and grant you to go back to the world and become a normal human again." That was the whole word that was formed on the scroll slowly. Yun was so happy and was happy and excited to get back to Sunny and be with her and to plan for their wedding and become a family.
