Kelly Kelly sat on her bed, leaning against the headboard, a notebook in her lap, faintly illuminated by the dim light the bedside lamp provided. Absently, she tapped the eraser of her pencil against the paper as she stared into the dark of her room. Tate had left just after dinner a couple of hours ago. Shortly after, she had stated she was tired and disappeared into her room and laid down, waiting to hear her grandmother’s bedroom door shut, telling her that her grandmother had finally gone to bed, before turning on her lamp and grabbing her notebook. She wasn’t sure how soon she’d be able to get in to see Alpha Hawthorne, but she wanted to be prepared just in case she saw him sooner rather than later.
