Tate The house was silent in the early hours of the morning. Not even the floorboards creaked, nor the windows rattled, in the silence. It was too quiet, almost unnerving. Tate sat uneasily in Kelly’s recliner after just getting off patrol not more than an hour ago, his phone resting on his thigh. He had just hung up the phone with Kelly. He had called her as soon as he had closed the door to his room, wanting to know how she had fared during the full moon, worried that she was headed to the hospital if she wasn’t there already.
