Kelly Sighing, Kelly sank into the recliner and glanced at the clock to check the time while her small cousins, Janey and Amber, ran around the living room chanting “princess” at the top of their lungs. She hoped they wouldn’t wake Griffin, who had just gone down for a nap not more than half an hour ago. Not that they could help being noisy, though. They were small pups, after all, but if she wasn’t mistaken, May should be back soon to pick them up. If she wasn’t, she would have to find a place for the two little ones to sleep.
