CHAPTER 6 DUPE

328 Words
I went to NY after that. I had to wait for a year to get in any university. I worked, studied and saved for the whole year. I got into Columbia university, that with a scholarship. I finally started living my life. I made friends, dated many guys and topped the exams as always. Then in the final year, we were presented with a presentation on drugs. The data was shocking. Nearly one-thirty people die everyday with drug overdose. Suddenly that night replayed in my mind and I decided to work for it. I joined a few NGOs that promoted anti-drugs society, and also participated in these types of camps. Then companies came and I was funded for my business. But my mind just went back to drugs. For a year, I worked my ass off to build the company, and then gathered people all around the world and formulated X. John is my best man. I have enough people to handle X but I still love to do these field jobs on my own. Afterall, I have learnt a lot for this. I learned how to use a gun, did martial arts and muscle buildup. How could I waste my skills by just sitting in front of a computer screen in my office? Five years passed just like that, in a blink of an eye. I became the number one women entrepreneur and it has been four years to X. Till now we have crashed many smuggling sights and helped as many as people we could to overcome their drug addiction. It includes mostly teenagers. We also help the children and women found on scene to get back to their homes, and if in case they don’t have one, they all live together in a building made by us for the survivors. It indeed is a sad story, but I never dwelt on sadness. I was always a firm believer of what happens, happens for a reason.
