INTRO

Prometheus in Greek religion is a Titan known as the supreme trickster and as the God of Fire. His intellectual side was emphasized by the apparent meaning of his name, Fore Thinker.  Common belief is he developed into a master craftsman and in this connection is known with fire and as the Creator of Mortals. Without Fire mortals feared the darkness that enveloped them constantly, striking them nearly immobile with fear. With the fire Prometheus brought to them, they found ways to fight back and eventually thrive; thanks to him modern civilization exists when they would have became extinct from all the predators and Gods and Titans finding them easy pray to play games with.      For his crimes against Zeus, the God of thunder, he was chained to a mountain named Caucasus in Scythia, known today as Iran in Eastern Europe.  According to Aeschylus, the writer of Tragedy Prometheus was chained for over thirty thousand years where every day an eagle came to eat his immortal liver that regenerated at night. Then the Greek hero, Hercules, had Zeus' permission to kill the eagle and free the trickster god.                Zeus punished Prometheus for three reasons.   When Zeus decreed that the mortals give a portion of the animals that they sacrificed to the gods. Prometheus decided to trick Zeus by creating two piles-  one with the bones wrapped in juicy fat and the other had the good meat hidden in the hide.  Zeus chose the pile of bones as it appeared shiny with all the tender bits. He did not appreciate being tricked.     Later Prometheus stole the Olympian Fire to give the mortals. The Gods were not pleased and took the fire back, which Prometheus did not agree too, He re-stole the fire again to return to the mortals, this time for good .     Prometheus refused to tell Zeus which of his children would be the one to dethrone him, Zeus got infuriated. Then he decided to punish Prometheus with an eagle as it was a symbol of Zeus, himself.                                This is starting to sound like a story about Zeus. Which I can assure, it is. While Zeus is a very important role in this story like, main character or whatever, Another important person is Metis the goddess of prudence and the first wife to Zeus. Zeus depended on her wisdom however, it was Mother Earth that told Zeus were Metis to bear him a son, that son would dethrone him as he had done to Cronus, his own father.      Yet still they did have children.  Their first being Athena, also known as Athene, Zeuss eldest and  most favorite child. She is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, skill, strategy, the arts, and the only other God who can wield Zeuss lightning.      Their second being a son who'll become more powerful then Zeus himself. Just as Mother Nature had predicted this is the son that would overthrow Zeus. His name is Porus. He is the personification of abundance and the God of Wisdom, God of Time just as his grandfather Cronus.   Porus has done a lot more in his life then the rumors let on. He is nothing quite like his father and we're here to tell you the story about all of us. But first, we have a few more introductions to make; like me. I have yet to enter my own story.               Everyone knows the story of Hercules and Hades so I'm sure it's not necessary for me to go into detail about them. Their roles into the upcoming events were huge but a onetime shot. They had their five minutes of fame.     Back to Prometheus!    After his release it's unknown exactly what happened to him. With his trickster powers he became a new person and was never to be seen again among the Olympian gods.  Many assumed someone had figured out how to kill the Immortal Titan and simply taken care of him after one of his tricks. No one was aware that the curse Zeus put on Prometheus was never lifted, so every day since his release he has died only to resurrect once again. Now he did find love and get married. His wife is the first woman created by gods, Pyrra.  It has been told they had a son names Deukalion.  He was a fantastic sailor just loved the water. Pyrra would joke around saying she gave birth to a fish, not a God. Unknown when or where he made the decision, but one day it is said he created a flood to wash out Greek in a temper tantrum that punished Gods and Mortals together. There is very little writing you can find of him or this mythical flood. There is one thing that was never written nor spoken of, that so few know of it. Pyrra and Prometheus have two children. Their first born being a girl.    Pyrra believed if any of the other Gods or Titans knew the first woman ever created had a daughter for a first born, that an innocent babe would be ridiculed, hurt, put into danger, ruined from the innocent babe that she was. So they kept trying for a second child, hoping and praying for a son who would replace their daughters spot, as everyone already knew of them being with child. When they did finally find out they were having another child they did the best thing they could think of- Prometheus was on the run, hiding his identity the best he could already, they once again had Prometheus change his appearance and run with their infant daughter away from Olympia; away from the Gods or anyone who would know how to handle such a rarity. Pyrra would never know what kind of powers her daughter would bare or how she would handle it, her parents, the eldest Gods known had given her a warning, someday a first born heir will rise and with them their bloodlines gifts will be many. Pyrra could only hope for her daughter to find her way in the new world that was evolving every day, and accept the way her family decided her life before she could form her own opinion.               Have you ever noticed a pattern between gods and their children? How they always seem to be born with the same curses and powers as their parents?  I have, and that's where I come in. I've been blessed and cursed with my mother being Pyrra and my father being Prometheus, being the first born of an old race of Gods and Titans puts a bit of a strain on having a normal life. Father never let me go to school with the other children in either realm afraid I'd give myself away with my uncontrollable power that's linked to my attitude.    Though nothing about me is normal, I don't even know my birthday. I used to remember everything that has happened around me centuries ago, though as the years passed we noticed my powers, my genetic inheritance coming of age. We pondered together what I could grow to become. We would talk about his and mothers powers, what my brother was like, who gave him what genetics. It wasn't hard to keep up with the Olympians as they seemed to blast their lives at the top their lungs despite mortals not hearing them, we could. Mother and Deukalion didn't hide themselves either, knowing we were listening far away wanting to stay close to our family no matter the circumstances. I was lucky to have a father willing to tell me the whole truth as I grew and was willing to help figure out who I was becoming, how strong or powerful I'll be. One day we hoped I could return to Olympia without the fear of being banished or worse but as time went on it became clear it was going to be a very long time, though neither of us can complain. As Gods and Titans are immortal, it was sad watching my younger brother grow into a man from a distance without knowing if he knew about his father or sister or even if he cared enough to wonder how or where we were. One thing neither of us expected was my father's curse being passed down to me. I mean, why should I? We believed after being freed the curse was only on my father. My brother showed no signs of the curse, what is different about me?                             It was hard on father when I died the first time, I mean, it would be on any father watching his daughter die before she has reached the peak of being an Olympian god. Even as immortals we can get very, very close to death it may even take years to recover fully, but seeing your child fall down the mountain constantly rolling and rolling, flying off boulders and hitting trees with a sickening force? He knew I couldn't survive that even with my mother's blood; it was too much for any child to bear. When he found me in a ditch near the base, every bone had been broken; I was missing joints and limbs. My neck was broken completely around; father couldn't bear it, seeing me in that state. He killed himself then and there even though he knew he would wake in the morning and I wouldn't.       Father woke to the sound of cracking and quick snaps, not knowing where they were coming from he got up ready for the day to mourn and bury me. I had yet to reach Goddess or Titan status, women have to wait longer then the men, women are considered adults at thirteen where men are by ten. When he turned to pick me up he realized it was me making those noises. My bones were mending themselves my joints were growing back; scars were fading until my skin was clear as it always has been. Hours after my neck and body had healed; I woke up in my bed with father sitting on the bed grasping my hand tightly. Seeing me awake he pulled me into his arms, crying babbling on how he thought I was gone for good and apologizing for not keeping me safe. For weeks he hovered over me carefully watching what I was doing to make sure nothing bad ever happened to me again. To ensure I wasn't cursed like he was. A year passed without any sign of me having his cursed genes so he relaxed again and I began behaving like all children do, exploring, running, climbing the trees that surrounded my little one room hut. I used to climb the trees until I was above the hut, then I'd jump as hard as I could onto the roof and lay there for hours watching the stars. It was beautiful where I lived growing up as a child. It was secluded enough for us to practice my powers as they showed themselves more each week.  Father believed that because I had mixed blood from a powerless yet special Goddess and a Titans that had resurrected me early.             The year following my death I asked father to take me on a hike to where I had fallen. I remember everything crystal clear what happened but I needed to face my fears of that mountain I had told him, it's high time I start acting like a fearless Olympian. After all I'm already a grown woman, but alas, I was still only a small child.  The hike was as beautiful as the first time. I marveled in how beautifully the trees lol with their leaves falling and changing color, how the grass is soft enough to leave little whispers of kisses on my toes or the rocks, bushes, plants, insects and road era all fit into this forest like one giant masterpiece left untouched by the wars humanity and Olympians have wagered on this earth. When we reached our destination I stood close to the ledge while looking straight ahead at the sun, I didn't need to look down to revisit the accident. It was already on a continuous loop in my minds eye. Hours after leaving home I finally turn to father, to tell him I was ready to go. I have faced my fears! His eyes were full of pride as he got up from his rock and walked towards me. We were hugging when I saw the tree fall towards us. Father tried to push me out of the way, but it was too late. We were both killed under that massive tree.             Returning home later the next afternoon I was furious. I've died twice because of this curse I inherited. I was not mad at my father why would I be when he didn't know it would become gentility passed on. I was furious at Zeus for starting this mess. The other olympians who never stood by my father when all he wanted to do was care for the mortals who cherish us, worship us! As I lay that night I knew I needed to do something to get revenge for everything that has gone wrong because of Zeus's ego and uncontrolled anger. I waited years to master my powers, perfecting my plan in secret I was going to get Zeus sooner then later he was going to feel the pain he has caused without even caring of the others he was hurting along the way.I had reached my prime, I had grown tall and old enough to look the same age as my immortal father when father agreed it was time we returned to Olympia  to see our family. It was a glorious day to rise and defeat the God of Thunder while all the Gods watched in awe; I'd return to my family and with them by my dude looking down on their precious egomaniac I'll demand he takes the curse of my father and thus me and give us free reign back in Olympia where we belong! We are titans and we are Gods! We have as much right to be here without shame, without anyone else staring us down with contempt in their words because of what Zeus has made them believe. I  was prepared to give this my all out I'd die again trying.            Upon arriving to Olympia we disguised ourselves to appear as any other god as land as they weren't around. Sneaking and hiding behind building's added a higher thrill to my already anxiousness and adrenaline.  Thinking of the victory my family would win today I was surprised to see Zeus out in the middle of the city flirting with the female titans and goddesses while boasting with the men, this could be my chance, I thought. I dropped my disguise and pulled out my favorite weapon- my bow. I hand carved my bow and arrows with my own knife, each arrow sported their own collection of feathers, those err the birds I've hunted on my own, each one is a win I gave my self; any weapon I make will be true to my target, It's an amazing gift my mother had given me. I stood tall and aimed the smallest inch above his head, it hit with a satisfying THWACK into the stone wall. There was a collective gasps and murmuring while everyone looked around, wondering where my s**t had come from.    "Zeus! God of Thunder!" I shouted, all eyes were on me,  "It is I, First born of Prometheus and heir to his curse that you bestowed upon him. I demand you remove this curse or I shall fight you to the death and when I succeed you WILL free us and allow us fee reign in Olympia!" I heard my father calling for me behind a small stone hut, whispering my name over and over telling me to give up and run, but I could not. It was already too late as I had all of Olympia staring at me with Zeuss stare bearing a hole in my head.  I knew he'd never let this go. I had to finish this before it went on any longer. It was my death day and I was determined to beat it and Zeus then return home to  my mother and brother.  Finally Zeus spoke, "and if I win?" His voice was loud and demanding, silencing everyone around.    "There is nothing to bargain over, for I shal'nt lose! This will end with your head on the ground and I will return home!". Silence followed, until a man around my age laughed, " no one can defeat my father, he is simply too strong for a tiny titan such as yourself," I turned my head and brought my bow up, aiming at Zeus child, "I have no business with you, leave us alone and let me duel." With that, every Olympian God, Goddess and Titan began laughing. Father has told me the Olympians looked up to Zeus, I just hadn't expected to laughed at so suddenly. I saw my mother running toward the crowd I may not have seen her up close in years but I had no doubt who she was. I looked behind her, hoping to catch a glimpse of my brother, but he was no where in sight. My attention was brought back to the man I've dreamt about killing since I was a small child, "if I win, and I surly will," he said with the ugliest sneer, "I'll curse you again, and only you. Seeing how your father has yet to show his face, living with the image of watching his daughter fail will be enough to last a life time!"    I laughed. "You can say all you want, but I'll win and you shall bow to me after and kiss my fathers feet after releasing us from your wretched curse!" I saw my father sneaking to my Mother, who held her hands on her chest, shaking her head while freely crying. I will make her proud. With my bow still high and steady I nodded my head once towards Zeus in agreement. Last thing I remember was Zeus laughing at me while the air got cold, him snapping his fingers and then...    I was on the ground staring with blurry vision everyone walking away, for centuries I'll hear his voice as he whispers my curse in my ear, "on this day for the rest of you pathetic life, you'll die, but, you'll wake up and remember nothing. May your defeat and your father failing to be there forever be the last thing you remember. Enjoy this next year while you can." Then He was gone and I was sucked into The Black as I again died, knowing I failed and now bear my own curse.    I closed my eyes with the promise that I will remember but it won't stop me, I may not know my name, I don't know my age. But I know I have a mission to fulfill and there's nothing that will stop me from completing it. I'll find away to get my memories back and I'll find my family. I will return to Olympia, all the gods and titans will remember who I am and who I defeated. I have nothing but time. Dying is easy, I'm not scared of death. I will win.
