1190 Words
After that tumultuous night, Aia and Zack decided to start their plan. The information they gathered from the party gave them renewed energy and determination. They knew their mission wouldn't be easy, but they were ready to face any challenge that came their way. "Zack, what's our next step?" Aia asked as she organized the documents and pictures they'd collected from the party. "First, we need to study the names and details from the photos and documents. There might be people we can talk to who have connections to those guys," Zack replied, eagerly reviewing the information they'd gathered. They looked for a quiet place where they could work properly. They found a small, uncrowded coffee shop and began their investigation there. As they studied the photos, Aia noticed a name written on the back of an old picture - "Marco Reyes." It sparked a memory. "Zack, I've heard that name before. He's one of the guys I knew back then." "Really? What do you know about him?" Zack asked, becoming more interested. "Marco was one of the guys who was around when the incident happened," Aia replied, her voice growing soft. "I didn't know him very well, but he was always there with his friends." "If that's the case, we should try to find him," Zack said. "We might get some information from him." "But how do we find him?" Aia asked, worried. "There are ways. At least, we'll try to research online. Maybe he has social media accounts or information in local directories," Zack replied, full of determination. As they worked on their laptops, Aia provided other names she had retrieved from her memories. "Andre and Leo too... they were Marco's companions back then. We should find them too." Time flew by as they researched. Finally, Zack found a profile that linked to Marco. "Aia, look at this! It seems he's active on social media. I found his pictures with other people." "And what do his posts say?" Aia asked, her heart beating with hope. "He has pictures at a bar in town. It seems he goes there often," Zack replied. "We could go there and see if we can find him." "If he's there, we might get a chance to talk to him," Aia said, her determination rising. "I need to know the truth. Not just for me, but for everyone affected by what happened." In their conversation, they decided to go to the bar the next day. Their journey wasn't just about finding people from the past, but also about uncovering the truth that had been hidden for so long. The next day, Zack and Aia went to the bar mentioned in Marco's profile early in the morning. The place was dark and still relatively quiet, but they knew they had to be prepared for anything. As they searched for Marco, Aia noticed a man sitting in a corner. He seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't remember where she'd seen him. "Zack, look at that guy over there," Aia whispered, pointing to the man. "He looks familiar, but I can't remember where." "Let's just leave him be," Zack replied. "Maybe you'll remember him later." But as they continued searching, the man approached Aia. "Are you Aia?" he asked, his voice sounding familiar. Aia was surprised. "Yes, I am. But who are you?" "I've been looking for you for a long time," the man replied, his eyes full of mystery. "I have something important to tell you." Before Aia could speak, she saw Zack approaching them. The man's expression immediately changed. He quickly stood up and left, disappearing into the crowd at the bar. "Who was that, Aia?" Zack asked, worried. "He seemed to know you." "I don't know," Aia replied, her heart beating fast. "But he seems to be connected to my past." They decided not to continue their search for Marco that day. The appearance of the mysterious man gave them a new challenge and new questions. They needed to find out who that man was and what his connection was to Aia's past. On their way home, Aia and Zack thought about the events. The appearance of the mysterious man gave them a new direction in their search. They needed to find that man and find out what he wanted to say. The next day, Aia woke up with a decision in her mind. She needed to act. She needed to find answers to her questions. But she didn But she didn't tell Zack about her plan. Instead, she quietly left their apartment, leaving her friend wondering. Aia didn't know that Zack was following her. From a distance, Zack watched Aia's every move. He saw her get into a taxi and where she got off. A place Zack wasn't familiar with. When Aia reached her destination, Zack was shocked to see who she met. Hawthorne. The two met in a quiet park. From where he stood, Zack couldn't hear their conversation, but his heart ached as he saw Hawthorne embrace Aia. The embrace seemed filled with emotion and love. An embrace Zack shouldn't feel. His heart ached. He didn't know what the two were talking about, but his imagination brought him pain. Zack quickly left the place. He couldn't stay there and watch Aia and Hawthorne get close. His heart was filled with sadness and worry. His love for Aia seemed to hurt. As he walked away, Zack thought about his feelings. He didn't know what to do. He needed to find a way to fix his feelings. He needed to decide what he would do with his love for Aia. It was evening when Zack got home, and Aia immediately noticed the change in his demeanor. Zack's eyes seemed deep and had traces of fatigue. She also noticed the smell of alcohol reaching her nose. "Zack," Aia called, her voice filled with concern. "Did you drink?" Zack just stared at her, his eyes seeming to contain some emotion. Despite her worry, she chose not to show her true feelings. "I'm fine," he replied, his voice turning cold. But deep down, Aia knew something was wrong. "Zack, if you have a problem, I'm here. Don't hesitate to talk." But Zack decided not to tell her what he was feeling. He chose to remain silent and left the living room, heading to his room. "I'm going to sleep," he said, and left. Aia was left confused. Why was Zack drunk? What happened to him? As she thought, she wondered what he was going through. Questions flooded her mind. "Should I be worried?" she asked herself. As she thought, Aia remembered the moments they shared together. Their laughter, their quiet conversations, and the times she was there for him. But in recent days, there seemed to be misunderstandings between them. "Maybe I need to talk to Zack tomorrow," she thought. "I need to know what's going on." As the night passed, Aia couldn't sleep. Her mind was filled with questions and worries for Zack. Despite everything, she knew they needed to face these things. Their friendship was important, and she didn't want to lose it.
