When Zack heard Aia's words, it felt like the world around him stopped. His heart raced, filled with joy and hope. "Aia..." he began, his voice heavy with emotion. "Really? So, I'm not alone in what I feel." Aia smiled and nodded. "Yes, Zack. Gradually, everything seems to be getting clearer. I can't deny my feelings anymore. It's like you're the light in my dark world." Zack let out a deep sigh. Those words seemed to bring to the surface feelings he had been nurturing for a long time. "Aia, ever since I met you, I haven't been the same. I'm so happy when I'm with you. It feels like all my problems become lighter." As Aia looked at Zack, she saw sincerity in his eyes. "Zack, I don't want to rush things. I want to get to know myself and you better, but... I'm ready to be more open about my feelings." "No problem, Aia," Zack replied. "I also want to be careful with our steps. What matters is that we journey together." As they talked, their faces slowly drew closer. In those moments, the world seemed to fade away, and all that mattered was the connection between them. The air seemed to carry dreams, hopes, and new beginnings. "You know, Aia," Zack continued, "I have a plan to take you to a special place. A place filled with memories and beautiful scenery. I want to show you the things that are important to me." "Really? What is it?" Aia asked, full of curiosity. "A place where we can relax and enjoy ourselves," Zack replied. "Come on, let's explore the world together, and a part of our hearts." After their brief conversation, they continued walking. The trees provided shade as they walked, and the air seemed to carry fragrant flowers. Their smiles and laughter filled the air with energy. When they reached a beautiful vista, they stopped in front of a lake surrounded by flowers and trees. The water shimmered under the sunlight, and the air carried a cool breeze. It was a perfect place for their new beginning. "Wow, it's beautiful here," Aia said, looking around. "It's like a page out of a fairy tale." "I really wanted to show you this," Zack replied. "Here, we can talk more deeply and have a chance to get to know each other better." As they walked around the lake, they shared stories about their lives, dreams, and the things that made them happy. With each word, a deeper connection gradually formed. "Actually, Zack," Aia began, "one of my dreams is to travel to different places and meet people. I want to experience life from different perspectives." "That's a beautiful dream, Aia. I want to be with you on those journeys. One day, we'll be explorers together," Zack replied, his eyes shining with possibility. In those moments, Aia decided to embrace her feelings. Their friendship was slowly becoming more than friendship. The challenges and fears seemed to fade from their minds. As they talked and walked around the lake, Aia noticed the stars gradually appearing in the sky. The beautiful scenery seemed to symbolize their new beginning. Behind the stars, she decided to express another thought in her heart. "Zack, I want to say..." she began, her heart pounding in her chest. "I want to be a part of your life. I want you to know that I'm ready to walk alongside you on all our journeys." A smile appeared on Zack's lips. "Aia, the next steps we take are exciting. Together, our journey will be more colorful and filled with joy." With those words, a new chapter seemed to open in their story. A story of love, acceptance, and hope. Under the stars, they decided to embrace their feelings and begin a new beginning filled with memories and dreams. As they walked along the lake, joy seemed to overflow in Aia and Zack's hearts. Their eyes met, and in those moments, Zack felt like he was ready for the next step. He slowly leaned his face closer to Aia's, his heart pounding with anticipation of kissing her. But in a flash, an unexpected sound shattered their moment. "Aia?" a familiar voice reached their ears. They both turned and saw Hawthorne emerging from behind the trees. "What are you doing here?" Aia asked, her heart suddenly sinking. Seeing Hawthorne brought back memories of their past. Zack was surprised, his eyebrows raised. "Hawthorne?" His mind raced. Why was he here? Was he following them? Worry flared in his chest. "Oh, I just saw you two," Hawthorne quickly explained, his voice laced with a hint of nervousness. "I was just taking a walk here and thought I'd check in on you. What's going on?" Aia questioned, "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be somewhere else?" Her voice held a note of doubt. She knew Hawthorne had ulterior motives. Hawthorne straightened, offering a smile that seemed strained. "Ah, it's just a coincidence. I just wanted to go for a walk. I thought maybe I'd see some people here." Behind the smiles and pleasantries, Zack knew Hawthorne had another agenda. His eyes held a desire to return to the past, and in a flash, Zack decided he wouldn't let Hawthorne ruin this beautiful moment with Aia. "What do you really want to say, Hawthorne?" Zack asked, his voice filled with determination. "Why are you so interested in the two of us?" Hawthorne quickly responded, "Nothing, nothing. I just really wanted to talk to Aia." In his heart, a small voice whispered that he wouldn't be happy if he didn't get Aia back. Aia looked back at Zack, her eyes filled with worry. "Zack, I'm okay. Let's just talk," she said, trying to calm the situation. But Zack couldn't hide his doubts. "Aia, I don't like him being here. It seems like he has another reason," Zack replied, his tone protective. "Why, what's the problem? I'm just here to talk to her," Hawthorne replied, feigning innocence. "Aia, I just really want to make amends for the mistakes I made before." "The mistakes?" Aia asked, her heart confused. She felt fear and confusion. She wanted to defend Zack, but on the other hand, she was confused by the feelings she was trying to hide. "I wanted to talk to you properly, Aia. If possible," Hawthorne said, his eyes filled with hope. "I don't know, Hawthorne...," Aia began, her emotions swirling in her mind. Their memories couldn't be erased, but the feelings she had for Zack seemed stronger. "Things happened between us, and I don't know if I'm ready to open those wounds again." With those words, tension filled the air between the three of them. Zack was determined to fight for his feelings for Aia, and Hawthorne seemed to be burning with the desire to win Aia's heart back. "Zack," Aia called out, her voice laced with confusion. "I don't know what I should do." "No problem, Aia. I'm here for you," Zack replied, his eyes full of sincerity. "Whatever you decide, I'm here." But behind Hawthorne's smile, there were secrets he wanted to reveal. Aia's heart was confused by the emotions swirling around her. Memories of the past and the present seemed to be battling in her mind. And amidst all of this, Zack decided not to let their moment be ruined. "Aia, no matter what happens, you're the most important thing to me," he said, his voice filled with hope. As the stars in the sky gradually faded, Aia decided to face her feelings and her past. An important decision needed to be made. Standing by the lake, Zack decided to give Aia and Hawthorne a chance to talk. But he wanted to do it nearby, to make sure they could still see each other. "Aia, it's okay if you talk to Hawthorne, but I'll be close by. I want to see what you're talking about," Zack said, his tone filled with care. "Thank you, Zack," Aia replied, her heart filled with apprehension and fear. Part of her mind held worries about the past, but on the other hand, she knew she needed to know why Hawthorne was there. Aia approached Hawthorne, seeming worried about the situation. "Why are you here, Hawthorne? You say it's a coincidence, but is there another reason?" Aia asked, her voice laced with doubt. "Uhm... there are things I need to tell you," Hawthorne replied, struggling with the words coming out of his mouth. "My grandfather is worried about the missing ledger. The one I gave you. He's looking for it." "Why is he worried about the ledger?" Aia asked, her eyes filled with concern. "I don't know what you mean." "My grandfather is very careful with things. He's wondering why it's gone. I'm his only grandson, so he can't doubt me. He suspects his right-hand man, Edwin. He thinks Edwin betrayed him," Hawthorne explained. "But why are you doing all this?" Aia asked, her heart confused. "Why are you getting involved in these things?" "I want to make amends for the mistakes I made before, Aia," Hawthorne replied, his eyes filled with sincerity. "I know I made mistakes with you, and I want to fix them. But right now, I need to find out what happened to the ledger." As Aia listened, her mind was in turmoil. Memories of their past flooded back, but Hawthorne's words seemed to offer a new path. "But how can you fix it? What do you want to happen?" she asked, her confused emotions playing on her heart. From afar, Zack listened, his heart burning with worry. He saw Aia's confusion, and Hawthorne's words seemed to plant deeper concerns in his heart. "Aia, I'm right here, don't worry," he whispered to himself, deciding to stay close. "If you really want to make amends, Hawthorne, you need to show you're serious," Aia replied, her voice filled with determination. "I don't know what I feel for you anymore. But if you really want to change things, you need to prove it." "I'm willing to prove myself, Aia," Hawthorne replied, his eyes filled with hope. "I want to earn your trust back. If you need to know about the ledger, I'll help you." As the two talked, Zack observed them. His heart was filled with fear and worry. He knew Aia and Hawthorne's past was filled with memories, but what he wanted to show Aia was his sincerity and love. "Okay, Hawthorne. I'll try to find out about the ledger, but you need to trust me," Aia replied, her voice firm. "I also want to get to know the real you." "Thank you, Aia. I'll do everything to show you that I've changed," Hawthorne replied, his eyes filled with sincerity. In those moments, Zack decided to approach. "Aia, I'm right here," he said, his voice protective. "If you need anything, I'm right here." "Zack, I'm okay," Aia replied, her emotions still seeming confused. "I just need to figure these things out." "If that's what you want, Aia, I'll support you," Zack replied, his heart filled with hope that he would see everything work out.
