Melia’s Point of View
The word “Okay” is still hanging in the air between us when I finally turn back to look at him.
We stare at each other for a few seconds before I nod my head once, wiping my face quickly.
“Okay… then let’s talk.”
I say. He hesitates for a second but then he follows me to the living room. We sit down on the couch, a cautious distance between us. The tension in the room, so thick that it feels like it I might suffocate.
I take a deep breath before I start speaking.
“Alex… I don’t want us to keep drowning in misunderstandings. So please. Just tell me what you are thinking.”
He stares at the floor and sighs as he runs his hand through his hair.
“I don’t even know where to start.”
