Alex’s Point of View “Melia…” My voice comes out rough as I knock on the door, but there is no answer. No movement. Just the sound of her crying softly on the other side of the door and it feels louder than her yelling would have been. “Melia, please.” I please, but there is still no response. I press my forehead against the door and I let out a slow breath. “I shouldn’t have asked that.” I say softly.
