Alex’s Point of View The front door opens and closes softly and I place my glass down quickly, waiting for her to come to the living room but I hear her footsteps heading in the direction of the hall. “Lia?” I call out to her, but she doesn’t answer me. I rush out of the the living room. “Lia, please wait! Can we talk about what happened?” I ask as I catch up with her, grabbing her arm lightly. She sighs, and pulls her arm out of my hold. “Alex, I have had long day, and I am tired. I just want to go to my room and go to sleep.” She says without looking at me. “Lia, please.” I beg again.
