Alex’s Point of View I put down the last piece of clothing and zip up my bag before looking over at Melia who is standing by the open window, brushing her hair. “Well. I guess this is it. Our little getaway is officially over.” I say, taking my bag off the bed and placing it on the floor. She sighs before glancing at me over her shoulder and giving me a small smile. “Yeah. It went by way too fast.” She says, and I hear a tinge of sadness in her voice. “Time tends to do that when you are having a good time.” I say, and she laughs softly, placing her brush down on the table.
